In order to protect socialist Maduro, woke critics of Trump’s actions in Venezuela forget about the Venezuelan people, who have been robbed, tortured, oppressed and murdered for decades. By a cruel dictator who ignored the election results and is dependent on Cuba, Russia, China, Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah. Does international law, which is always cited as an argument, only apply to dictators and not to the people? Trump has turned the world upside down with his successful action.
A few days later, Maduro was brought before the court in New York, despite the support expressed for Maduro by the mayor of New York, Mamdani, an Islamist and Marxist in one.
This immediately highlights the dividing line that has crept into Western society. Woke and Islam have such a strong aversion to Trump and the West, in terms of culture and economic order, that they are willing to openly side with a socialist dictator, Maduro in this case.
The Dutch mainstream media also give ample space to those who prefer the paper reality of international law to the welfare of an entire people. They may say that they also support the people, but when weighing up ending the torture, theft and murder of their own people against international law, they choose the latter.
It is unclear when the Venezuelan people, or any people for that matter, have democratically chosen this. The people appear to be merely the victims. Apparently, dictators can invoke international law, but an oppressed people cannot.
For all the folks wringing their hands in fake moral outrage over Pres. Trump’s action on Maduro, you have ZERO understanding of the geopolitical significance this action has not just for Venezuela but for Western Civilisation…let this Venezuelan educate you 👇🏾pic.twitter.com/DtpslCOG87

In addition, the aversion to Trump is so great that everything he does must be condemned. If he were to rescue a drowning baby from the water, he would be condemned by the left for taking food away from fish. If these are your friends, you don’t need enemies.
A Failed State
The fact that Venezuela, as a failed state, has become dependent on Cuba, Iran, Russia and China, and that Hamas and Hezbollah have also gained a foothold there, is no reason for them not to condemn Trump’s intervention. Do these naive hypocrites think that Russia and China’s visits were motivated by the nice weather and beautiful women in Venezuela? No, they were looking for a foothold in Central America, but above all oil and raw materials.
Incidentally, some thirty Cubans have lost their lives protecting Maduro, and US officials have suggested that Cuba will quickly fall further into decline now that the flow of money from Venezuela will dry up. Apparently, Maduro had more confidence in Cubans than in his own people. Also telling. It may be against international law, but I wish those Cubans freedom and a democratic constitutional state. Or should we conclude that a democratic constitutional state is completely unrelated to international law?
I’m with some Cubans right now and they’re literally crying tears of joy.
Venezuelans are celebrating all over the globe too.
If anyone thinks this military operation was a bad idea, you have NO idea how many votes we just gained for the midterms.
Trump is now the absolute hero…

The Peace president
But wasn’t Trump the peace president? Yes, indeed. Even though he asserts himself in certain parts of the world, Trump did not start a traditional war like his predecessors did. Of course, in addition to the drug problem caused in part by Venezuela in the US and the massive illegal immigration to destabilise the US, trade and making money are important issues for Trump. That is still the case today. We don’t need to hide that fact. In this case, it is also legitimate, because Venezuela has caused American companies tens of billions of dollars in losses by nationalising companies, i.e. stealing from them. In addition, the US will have to refinance nine trillion dollars in 2025 and 2026. So money has to be made, because a fall in the dollar affects the whole world.
In his conversation with the press on Air Force One, Trump emphasised the scale of the investments made by companies and other countries in the US. Up to twenty trillion dollars, $20,000,000,000,000.00. This should ultimately put an end to the mounting national debt, in combination with high revenues from the import tariffs that have been introduced.
There are major differences between previous presidents and Trump. Starting a war with the massive deployment of soldiers on the ground, resulting in 4,500 dead American soldiers, based on non-existent weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, or eliminating a socialist dictator, or the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Soleimani: that is quite a difference.
In addition, all the reasons for arresting Maduro are legitimate: mass immigration from Venezuela, drug imports, foreign powers and terrorists in the backyard, American companies being robbed. These are all issues that directly affect Americans.
Yes, but Congress had not given permission. And what about international law? Hillary Clinton eliminated Gaddafi in Libya without Congress’s permission. Even though four Americans were killed in the process, she still played it down.
This intervention was defended by globalist advocates with the R2P doctrine: Responsibility to Protect. This means that the international community has a responsibility to intervene if a state is unable or unwilling to protect its own citizens from mass atrocities. Have you heard a single so-called expert mention this in relation to Trump and Venezuela? Of course not.
There is also quite a difference between intervening in Libya, or Syria if you will, or in Venezuela. In Venezuela, there are no tribal tribes, but a Western-oriented country that longs for the return of democracy. You cannot impose democracy in the Middle East, but the citizens of Venezuela embrace democracy to a very large extent. Some 70% of the votes in the last elections went to the opposition.
There was little attention from the mainstream media, because socialist Maduro had to be kept out of the spotlight, but on X everyone could see that the results from each individual polling station confirmed the opposition’s big victory. It should be noted that the eight million Venezuelans who have fled the country were unable to vote and that around eleven million people did vote. The victory would therefore have been even greater without the Venezuelans who fled. Here are the results.
The same applies to Iran, formerly Persia. That country also had a Western tradition in its recent history. There, too, there is a possibility that with the departure of the dictatorial Islamic regime, a government could come to power that would be more friendly to the West, and therefore also to Israel, and to the world in general.
Additional sites are being targeted as Maduro’s pillars of repression collapse.
To those warning about ‘U.S. invasion’: remember this,
Venezuela was already invaded by the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hizbollah.

Trump Derangement Syndrome
It is not only on the left that people suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. There are also voices on the “right” who disapprove of the US’s actions. There, too, some believe that the US should not interfere in anything, completely ignoring geopolitical relations. They also refer to Machado, who, as the country’s most popular politician, was not allowed to participate in the elections. This was because she had been photographed at the Wailing Wall in Israel wearing a kippah. According to them, the US intervention was just another Jewish conspiracy, because she also wants to move the Venezuelan embassy to Jerusalem. Some of these twists and turns of thought leave you speechless. Anti-Semitism that is supposed to justify the oppression of the Venezuelan people.
The complicated but highly successful action by the US has turned the world upside down. The new leader of Venezuela has opted for a moderate tone after all, and I am confident that the US will keep the promises it has made to the Venezuelans and the Americans. Smooth talkers like Obama brandished red lines that the enemy could cross with impunity. Those days are over.
The implications are significant. The tickets to Moscow are ready in Havana and Tehran.
